#2 Karrion Kross will retain the NXT Championship at NXT TakeOver: In Your House

At NXT TakeOver: In Your House, the NXT Championship will be put on the line. The current title holder, Karrion Kross, will defend the championship in a fatal five-way against Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, Pete Dunne and Johnny Gargano.

To determine a challenger for the NXT Championship, a triple threat match was set up between Kyle O'Reilly, Johnny Gargano and Pete Dunne. This descended into chaos when Adam Cole appeared and attacked all three men. Karrion Kross then made a request to general manager William Regal to face all five men, which was accepted.

Although Karrion Kross will be facing four strong competitors, it's hard to imagine him dropping the title so soon into his reign. The star won the title at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, a little over two months ago. It feels as though Karrion Kross will be NXT Champion for quite some time, unless WWE are planning to call him and Scarlett up to the main roster, as the star himself has also discussed recently.
