#1 Adam Cole (c.) vs. Dexter Lumis

It appears that WWE is about to strap a rocket to the back of Dexter Lumis.

There have been two occasions in which Dexter Lumis has gotten into an altercation with Undisputed Era. On the first occasion, he took Keith Lee's place in a tag team match alongside The Velveteen Dream against Adam Cole and Roderick Strong of the Undisputed Era. He would then appear once again to attempt to help The Velveteen Dream overcome interference from Undisputed Era in his NXT Championship match against Adam Cole.

Dexter Lumis has scored several victories over the past few months, with the most recent one being against Shane Thorne. He has watched the Velveteen Dream fail to defeat Adam Cole, and now it is his turn. He is set to face Roderick Strong in the near future and after he manages to score the victory, it will most certainly lead to a match between Adam Cole and Dexter Lumis for the NXT Championship in the main event of NXT TakeOver.
