As mentioned earlier, Legado del Fantasma has continued to appear with Santos Escobar on WWE NXT. Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde have been great henchmen who have ensured that Escobar remains the Interim NXT Cruiserweight Champion.

Things could take a bitter turn at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver when Escobar takes on Jordan Devlin in an attempt to become the sole NXT Cruiserweight Champion. Escobar will likely depend on Mendoza and Wilde during the Ladder Match, which will have no disqualifications.

Fans could end up watching Medonza and Wilde get sick of following Escobar’s instructions, and push him off the ladder before walking away. Their actions could then allow Devlin to comfortably climb up the ladder and unify the NXT Cruiserweight titles.

Devlin has worked hard to reach where he is today, and WWE could give him a chance to get a proper run as the sole NXT Cruiserweight Champion.

The ending will give Mendoza and Wilde a chance to break away from Escobar and focus on their own tag team instead. It will also give Devlin a much-deserved victory without diminishing Escobar’s value in NXT.
