#1 Jordan Devlin unifies the NXT Cruiserweight Championships at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver

Jordan Devlin’s NXT Cruiserweight Champion reign has been hampered by the COVID-19 pandemic. Devlin won the title in a Fatal 4-Way match at Worlds Collide 2020.

However, the pandemic forced NXT UK to go on a hiatus while the United States' wing crowned Santos Escobar as the interim champion.

Both men have held the titles for a long time now, and NXT TakeOver: Stand and Deliver will likely allow one man to unify the championships. Escobar has been really good as a champion, but it’s The Irish Ace’s time to show what he’s got.

Devlin is one of the best technical wrestlers in the company, and he deserves to have a much better reign than he’s already had. NXT could decide to give Devlin a major boost at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver where he could take down Escobar and climb the ladder.

Devlin could then pull down both titles and finally end Escobar’s reign as the Interim NXT Cruiserweight Champion.

This would be a perfect ending to Devlin’s journey that has brought him from the UK to the United States to prove that he is the real Cruiserweight Champion. Devlin could then find some challengers for his title in NXT before heading back to the UK.
