The blowout between Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly was one of the most anticipated matches of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. After years of the Undisputed Era, and the partnership between the pair that began pre-WWE, the pair finally imploded.

In the chaotic main event, Cole and O'Reilly finally came to blows. The two men immediately brought out the weapons, with Cole driving a steel chair into O'Reilly. The latter responded by wrapping a chain around his foot and kicking his rival.

The biggest moment of the matchup came later on when the pair brawled outside, and the former NXT Champion slammed Kyle O'Reilly through the stage of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.

The vicious scrap between the stars ended not long after this, when the two fell from the top turnbuckle following a low blow from O'Reilly, who then followed this up when he wrapped the chain around his leg again and hit Cole with a knee strike.
