Shayna Bazler was able to defeat Mia Yim at Takeover

Mia Yim challenged Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women's Championship last night in Toronto, knowing full well that Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir wouldn't be able to play a role in the match, but despite this she was unsuccessful. The Queen of Spades was able to walk out of Canada with her Championship, but she was aware that she had been in a fight as the HBIC threw everything she had at Baszler.

Yim was another star who had her arm worked throughout the match before forgetting that she had to sell it. Baszler even performed the move that put Dakota Kai on the sidelines for months when she stamped on her elevated elbow, but Yim just shook it off and continued her match plan.

This wasn't the only botch in the match either, since the two women later had a planned spot to get through and Baszler seemingly forgot what the move was and they decided to make it obvious that it was a botch by completely redoing the entire spot.

Unsurprisingly, the women's match was considered to be the only low point of the show and given these botches, its easy to see why.
