Many were shocked when TakeOver finally gained a second women's bout (given how many times its been passed over), and given how good it was, it likely won't be the last time.

This is also the first time we got to see Candice LeRae in singles action on a TakeOver, and opposing the dark Genius of the Sky, Mrs. Wrestling was able to show off why she's regarded as one of the best female wrestlers in the world.

From the get go, this one was heated, and both women were able to show off tremendous character work while putting in some hard-hitting offense, but it was Shirai that took complete control early.

Later on in the match, both women showed incredible fight, and the back and forth showed off why both are considered some of the best in the world. Ultimately, Shirai wasn't going to lose this match, and she finally put away the resilient LeRae for the win.
