What a way to kick off SummerSlam weekend!

Velveteen Dream vs. Roderick Strong vs. Pete Dunne - NXT North American Championship (contd...)

Dunne hit German Suplexes to both guys and got a near fall before stomping on the two. Dunne and Dream teamed up for a moment before all three started hitting chops on each other. All three Superstars hit big slams and the crowd chanted 'This is Awesome!' after the intense sequence of moves.

Dunne and Dream were fighting on the ropes when Strong took them down hard, with Dream botching the fall. Dunne went for the triangle lock and Dream hit the elbow drop on Dunne. Strong hit the Boston Crab on Pete Dunne and Velveteen came in with the distraction and hit the Death Valley Driver on Dunne and then a splash for the big win.

Result: Velveteen Dream def. Pete Dunne & Roderick Strong to retain the NXT North American Championship
