Adam Cole (c) vs. Johnny Gargano - 3 Stages of Hell Match for the NXT Championship (contd...)

More weapons were being brought down from the cage walls as the match mirrored the days of the Attitude Era. Cole used two chairs to make a platform but Gargano sprayed a fire extinguisher in his face, hitting a Tornado DDT onto the chairs.

Gargano brought a sledgehammer down but Cole took him out from behind. Cole hit two Canada Sunrises and still couldn't get the pinfall. Cole kneed a chair by mistake and then bit Gargano's hand to get out of a submission.

Gargano took a set of wire cutters and cut a piece of barbed wire off the top of the cage before they both climbed to the top of the cage for the final leg of the match. Both men fell from 20 ft high and onto a set of tables, causing even more destruction. Cole happened to land on top of Gargano and got the three-count to retain his title.
