But what makes more sense than for The Velveteen Dream to step up to the plate and give Tommaso Ciampa a run for his money. As good as he is, Dream hasn't held the NXT Championship yet.

Maybe for some, the higher-ups should wait a while to put the belt on Velveteen Dream and let him establish himself on the NXT roster. For others, this is his moment to shine and show the world how much better he is than Ciampa.
