Gargano's heel turn is not destined to last long

Johnny Gargano has been the star of NXT throughout 2018 and the former NXT tag-team champion looks destined to grab the NXT title from Tommaso Ciampa during WrestleMania weekend next April.

Of course, if that is going to happen, then there are several things that must happen between now and then, one of which, is Gargano turning face again. While the WWE is likely to wait a little bit to turn Gargano, there is every chance they could jump the gun and do it on Saturday night.

Gargano is scheduled to face Aleister Black at WarGames, in an encounter that he is highly likely to win. It feels like a given that Gargano will have some sort of moral decision to make during the match and that he may begin to show early signs of a turn.

There is also the chance that Gargano will ruthlessly take out Ciampa following the night's NXT title match, beating down his opponent and fully embracing the hate.

Of course, the WWE could simply have a staredown between the two men, which would, if nothing else, establish Gargano as a future contender for the belt and plant the seeds for his impending face-turn.
