Adam Cole is the leader of the Undisputed Era. He made history by becoming the first ever NXT North American Championship. Cole and the rest of the Undisputed Era were given a solid push when their group was formed. They defeated Sanity and the Authors of Pain in the first ever WarGames Match. Even after getting such great success and making history, Cole has not been able to shine in NXT. After his unsuccessful attempt to win the NXT Championship, Cole has become extremely frustated.

He was defeated by Johnny Gargano at NXT TakeOver: New York in a 2 out of 3 falls match. He won the first fall during that match and then announced himself as the uncrowned NXT champion. Cole has unmatched charisma and his in-ring ability is first rate but the only thing that Cole has still not achieved in NXT is the NXT Championship. Cole is yet to win the main title of the brand.
