Bailey Matthews vs Tyler Bate on NXT UK

After seeing a brief NXT UK backstage segment between Ilja Dragunov and Sam Gradwell, where a match was made for next week's NXT UK, the next bout up was Bailey Matthews and Tyler Bate.
The match between the two showed off the technical prowess of both stars, and after a brief back-and-forth, Matthews had Bate locked in a head scissors hold, which Bate transitioned out of into a headlock. Matthews then battled out of this into a wristlock and took Bate back down to the mat.
Bate forced his way out of this, and then began hitting his opponent with a series of forearm strikes. Matthews then returned the favor with forearm strikes of his own, and Bate threw Matthews down with a suplex, before applying an airplane spin to him.
This was then followed Bate hitting Matthews with a Tyler Driver followed by a pin, picking up a win for the former NXT UK Champion.
Winner: Tyler Bate

The action then cut to a video package that teased a mysterious new arrival to NXT UK. Followers of WXW would quickly recognize the one and only Lucky Kid.
