The action continued in the NXT UK ring as Trent Seven attempted to position his opponent to land a Seven Stars Lariat. However, Devlin reversed this and showered his challenger with a series of kicks.
Trent Seven finally managed to hit a Seven Star Lariat but couldn't put the champion away with it.

The former NXT Tag Team Champion then fought back some more, transitioning from an airplane spin to a Burning Hammer. However, he couldn't manage to pin his rival this time.
The match between the two stars went to another level, as Jordan Devlin poked the eye of Trent Seven. The Irish Ace then landed a 450 splash on Trent and then manages to pin him to retain the NXT Cruiserweight Championship.
Jordan Devlin would be a great addition to the line-up on the upcoming NXT UK Prelude event next month.
