Isaac Odugbesan was born on April 22, 1998 is a Nigerian professional wrestler and former shot putter. He is presently signed to WWE, where he performs on the NXT brand under the ring name Oba Femi.Oba Femi, showing prowess in high school sports, earned a student-athlete scholarship at Middle Tennessee State University, emerging victorious in the Conference USA contest. Subsequently, during Summer 2019, he moved to the University of Alabama. At Alabama, he claimed the shot put title at the SEC Indoor Track and Field Championships in both 2021 and 2022, and also seized the outdoor title in 2022 before graduating.

On December 8, 2021, Odugbesan inked a deal with the professional wrestling promotion WWE, joining its fresh Next In Line program aimed at grooming college athletes for potential WWE wrestling careers. Adopting the ring moniker Oba Femi, he marked his debut in the wrestling ring on the November 18, 2022, edition of NXT Level Up, where he faced off against Dante Chen, albeit ending in defeat.

After experiencing a series of losses on the program until February, Femi finally made his official NXT debut on April 25, 2023, at Spring Breakin', where he secured a victory against Oro Mensah. Following a brief absence from television, in December 2023, Femi participated in the 2023 Men's NXT Breakout Tournament. He emerged victorious against Myles Borne in the first round and Tavion Heights in the semifinals. Then, on January 2, 2024, at NXT: New Year's Evil, Femi won the NXT Breakout Tournament 2023 by defeating Riley Osborne in the finals.

The following week,Oba Femi cashed in his Breakout Tournament contract and emerged victorious against Dragon Lee, claiming the NXT North American Championship. This victory marked the first title of his career and also made him the inaugural graduate of the Next In Line program to secure a WWE title. On February 4 at Vengeance Day, Femi successfully defended his newly acquired title in his first title defense against Dragon Lee. Following this, on the February 13 edition of NXT, Femi once again defended his championship, this time triumphing over Lexis King.
