Chad Gable is arguably a younger version of Kurt Angle. He has been an Olympian in amateur wrestling and shares many characteristics with Angle. However, since splitting with Jason Jordan, his most extensive use has been teaming with Shelton Benjamin on SmackDown Live.

In recent months, Gable has been teaming with Bobby Roode. Ultimately, their partnership affords a multitude of prospects.

Bobby Roode debuted on NXT in 2016 and quickly ascended to become NXT Champion. In following months he had excellent title defences against the likes of; Kassius Ohno, Hideo Itami, and Shinsuke Nakamura. However, his reign ended when Drew McIntyre defeated him at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III. In subsequent months, Roode debuted on the main roster. His tenure brought him a United States championship reign.

April 16th, 2018 Roode has performed on Raw. However, his performance was limited, lacking a specific direction. However, on September 3rd Roode began teaming with Gable. Roode and Gable are excellent together, (watch the video below).

Firstly, their comedic value is priceless. Secondly, they performed so well they became captains for their team at Survivor Series. With Roode's extensive knowledge and experience, this team could be successful. They deserve an opportunity as the Raw tag team champions.
