Paige to be stripped of her NXT Women's title

Bad news for NXT Women’s champion and WWE Divas champion Paige as WWE has planned to take her NXT Women’s champion title away from her. The reason behind this is that Paige cannot hold the NXT Women’s Championship and the WWE Divas Championship at the same time.

Paige won the WWE Divas title on her debut match at WWE main roster by defeating AJ Lee at Monday night Raw. AJ Lee held the divas title for almost 300 days before losing it to Paige.

Paige initially refused to give away her NXT Women’s title, but eventually she agreed as she was told that due to her schedule as WWE Divas Champion, it isn’t fair for the NXT talents to not have the title to compete for. Paige held the NXT Women’s title for 274 days.
