Last night's SmackDown ended on a bit of a sour note. Despite calling Paul Heyman, The Original Tribal Chief Roman Reigns received no answer, as The Wiseman's phone was out of service. This left the leader of the OG Bloodline in a pensive mood, with many in the WWE Universe wondering what this could mean. Well, could it be that Heyman was already working on something for Reigns behind his back, and that is why he didn't answer?
Well, to answer that question, it is a very distinct possibility. This was the first time since his return, that Roman Reigns has called Paul Heyman. Now, given his social media activity, many might be wondering, what could Heyman be working on that is so important that he switched his phone off? Perhaps, he was working on getting "his" Tribal Chief a fifth member for WarGames.
One of the reasons why Paul Heyman is The Wiseman is because he always knew what Roman Reigns needed and what was best for him. This could be one of those situations, where Reigns' call did not go through, simply because Heyman was hard at work. Hard at work, trying to convince, let's say, Seth Rollins to be the fifth member of the OG Bloodline at Survivor Series: WarGames.

Laying the groundwork for a potential alliance with The Visionary is a very Wiseman thing to do. But, at the end of the day, this is nothing more than speculation. Hopefully, we will in time learn the reason why Heyman's phone was out of service.
Paul Heyman was last seen on WWE TV nearly 140 days ago
The mention of Paul Heyman tonight on SmackDown got the WWE Universe visibly excited. Much like Roman Reigns, they were looking forward to hearing from The Wiseman but were left disappointed. Now, no one can blame them for their excitement. After all, it has been a while since we saw the WWE Hall of Famer on TV.
The last time Heyman was on WWE TV was nearly 140 days ago on the June 28, 2024 episode of SmackDown. On that night, he was met with a daunting task, one that saw him get brutally attacked by The Bloodline. He was asked to acknowledge Solo Sikoa as his Tribal Chief, a task he refused to complete.
It was a huge moment, and one that showcased just how loyal Heyman is to The OTC. Nevertheless, the fans grow weary of not seeing Reigns with his Wiseman. So, here's hoping he makes his return very soon.
