Roman Reigns returned last night at SummerSlam to cost Solo Sikoa his match against Cody Rhodes. The Original Tribal Chief laid waste to his former Enforcer, which resulted in The American Nightmare picking up a win.

While Roman Reigns made his epic return last night, his special counsel Paul Heyman is still on the sidelines since he was kicked out of the Solo-led Bloodline. However, it may not be too long before the WWE Hall of Famer makes his comeback to the Stamford-based promotion.

The following piece will explore three potential ways The Wiseman could return after SummerSlam:

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

#3. Paul Heyman returns to join forces with Roman Reigns

Following Roman Reigns' return last night, Paul Heyman took to social media to react to The Tribal Chief's return. The veteran manager has been Reigns' special counsel for the last four years.

With Roman back in the company, Heyman will have the support and trust of a close friend. The veteran doesn't have to fear The Bloodline anymore with Reigns by his side.

Hence, the Hall of Famer could return shortly to reunite with the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion on SmackDown.

#2. The Wiseman betrays Reigns

Following his loss at WrestleMania XL, Roman Reigns went on a hiatus. However, amid his absence, his Wiseman and close friend Paul Heyman was constantly tormented by Solo Sikoa and his henchmen.

However, Reigns never came to Heyman's aid. This may not go down well with The Wiseman, who could feel betrayed by the Original Tribal Chief's actions.

If so, another potential direction could see Heyman return and join forces with Roman, only to betray him. The Wiseman could turn on Reigns to join forces with his former client Brock Lesnar.

The company had seemingly distanced itself from Lesnar after he was alluded to in Janel Grant's lawsuit against Vince McMahon. However, things have changed recently.

The Beast Incarnate was rumored to make his return a while back. WWE's Head of Creative, Triple H recently stated that Lesnar could return whenever he is ready. Lesnar was even name-dropped at SummerSlam, which could be a subtle way for the company to tease his return.

Feeling betrayed by his Tribal Chief, Heyman could call upon Lesnar, to join forces with the former Universal Champion once again.

#1. Paul Heyman's new faction

If Heyman indeed turns on Roman Reigns and joins forces with Brock Lesnar, he could form his own faction to avenge his humiliation against The Bloodline.

Heyman could recruit Bron Breakker, with whom the legend was involved a few months ago in NXT, and shares a close bond off-screen. The Wiseman could also join forces with Jimmy Uso, welcoming him into his faction with open arms.

Much like The Wiseman, Jimmy was kicked out of The Bloodline by Solo. Hence, it would make sense for him to join forces with the veteran against The Bloodline. Another name who could join Heyman's potential faction could be CM Punk.

The Second City Saint is currently involved in a feud against Drew McIntyre. However, he could join Heyman's stable once he is done with The Scottish Warrior.
