Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens are functioning as the two most lethal heels on WWE RAW and SmackDown respectively. The two men seem to be targeting stars who have worked with Roman Reigns or cost them big opportunities.
The Scottish Warrior recently started his rivalry with the OG Bloodline members intending to get his hands on Roman Reigns. Drew McIntyre has made it clear that he will wipe out anyone who has cost him big opportunities in the company.
Meanwhile, Kevin Owens is in a bitter feud with his former friend Cody Rhodes. He turned on the Undisputed WWE Champion after the latter teamed up with Reigns at Bad Blood. 2025 could see the two stars team up and brutalize many top names to make their intentions clear. It could see them finally win world titles for proper reigns again.
Check out the five WWE stars who could get attacked by the vengeful Drew McIntyre and raging Kevin Owens in 2025:
A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.
#5. Karrion Kross has some skeletons in his closet
Karrion Kross had become more of an afterthought in WWE before Triple H made him the leader of Final Testament. It looks like The Herald of Doomsday is finally getting back on track.
In 2022, Kross emerged to attack McIntyre in his feud with Roman Reigns, just weeks before Clash at the Castle. Later on, the two men got into a rivalry where The Herald of Doomsday fared well.
WWE fans could see Drew McIntyre recall what Kross did to him and go after the Final Testament with Kevin Owens by his side. The two stars could put an end to Karrion Kross’ faction and also end his storyline of turning various superstars into heels.
Facing the two top stars would allow Kross to grow as a singles star and potentially get big rivalries down the line.
#4. John Cena’s WWE career could come to an end sooner than expected
The babyface John Cena will be returning on WWE RAW’s Netflix premiere to kick off his retirement tour. Cena could come across two of the company’s biggest heels soon after his return.
The Greatest of All Time did endorse Cody Rhodes following the latter’s return to WWE. Kevin Owens does not like what Rhodes stands for and has had problems with Cena in the past.
The two villains could target the biggest babyface in the company to gain more heat. Together, they could threaten to end Cena’s career before the retirement tour comes to an end to go the extra mile.
WWE could also push another babyface by having him help John Cena in the feud against Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens. It could keep all stars involved busy for some time while entertaining fans.
#3. Sami Zayn could lose his longtime friend Kevin Owens
WWE fans have seen Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens either team up or face each other on several occasions. However, the rivalry between the two stars could get much more personal in 2025.
KO and Zayn teamed up to defeat The Usos for the Undisputed Tag Team Title at WrestleMania. Since then, Sami Zayn has made up with The Usos and even worked with Roman Reigns.
Just like Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens could also vent his frustration at The Honrary Uce for joining The OTC again. He could join McIntyre in his current rivalry to end his real-life friendship with Sami Zayn and possibly shelve him for some time.
#2. Paul Heyman could taste Drew McIntyre’s boot before going on a leave
Paul Heyman has remained Roman Reigns’ closest associate since the latter turned heel. He has helped his Tribal Chief on numerous occasions and even tricked Brock Lesnar to assist Reigns.
Drew McIntyre has made it clear that he wants to take down all five men who helped Roman Reigns. He could pardon Solo Sikoa, who is working against The OTC, and instead focus on Paul Heyman.
Sikoa and his men have already shelved Heyman with a brutal attack in 2024, only for him to return before Survivor Series: WarGames. Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens could do something similar to shelve Paul Heyman before they get their hands on Roman Reigns.
#1. Roman Reigns made both WWE stars' lives miserable
Both men have equal hate for Roman Reigns, who has cost them many championship opportunities. The Bloodline has interrupted during their title matches separately. However, they could finally attack The OTC together.
As a duo, Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens could be unstoppable. They could target Reigns post-WrestleMania and beat him down to sideline him for an extended period.
That could allow the heels to remain on top of whichever brand they’re working on and challenge for the world titles without worrying about Reigns stealing their opportunities.
WWE will then have two ready feuds for Roman Reigns whenever he returns to action. Having Drew McIntyre or Kevin Owens the world title when The OTC returns would add a lot more flavor to the rivalry.
