It has been quite a while since Paul Heyman last appeared on WWE TV and Friday Night SmackDown. Back in June, he was assaulted by Solo Sikoa and Bloodline 2.0, officially removed from the faction.

Since then, he has addressed the possibility of a return multiple times, saying that he will come back when there will be something significant to give to The Bloodline storyline.

And his return this time could involve a heel turn, where Heyman betrays Roman Reigns and aligns with Solo Sikoa, even though the latter was the one to kick him out of the faction.

This way, he would create a new angle in the storyline, as he would now become Solo's Wiseman, while the WWE Hall of Famer would also become a target for The Original Tribal Chief.

If Paul Heyman is back, he could open the way for The Rock's eventual return too, after Bad Blood, and side with him against Roman Reigns.

His return could happen as early as this Saturday, November 2, at the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event, where Roman Reigns and the OG Bloodline will take on Solo Sikoa and two other members of Bloodline 2.0.

WWE insider believes Paul Heyman will not have a heel turn when he comes back

WWE has not hinted at when Paul Heyman will be back, but wrestling insider Sam Roberts believes he will come back soon to reunite with Roman Reigns.

According to Roberts, Heyman will complete the comeback of the OG Bloodline and will let the civil war reach its peak.

"This Bloodline has wronged everybody individually that’s coming after them. Roman was obviously the first one who was wronged when Solo took The Tribal Chief spot from him. Jimmy was wronged by being taken out by The Bloodline after WrestleMania. Jey wronged by having the IC Title being taken away from him. Eventually, The Wiseman will be back. Hopefully, fingers crossed. He has been wronged by this group who powerbombed through the table,” Sam Roberts said in an episode of Notsam Wrestling, via Wrestling Noticias.

That said, it remains to be seen what the plan is for The Wiseman and whether WWE will bring him back or will keep his return wrapped in secrecy for the foreseeable future.
