Paul Heyman's Top 5 hilarious moments

Paul Heyman is one of the best characters on WWE television. The ease with which he speaks and the heel energy that he exudes is legendary. He is someone who has created his own niche in the world of professional wrestling. Bobby Heenan is an iconic character but Paul Heyman and Heenan are incomparable. Paul Heyman will always be the first Paul Heyman, rather than the second Bobby Heenan.

This week the highlight of the entire feud, for me, between him and Punk was the way Heyman ran away into the crowd. It just goes on to show how easy it is for him to get a laugh out of the audience. Here are some of the most hilarious Paul Heyman moments.

1. Bah God! J. R! J.R! JAAY AAARRR!!

A WWE Hall of Famer isn't a John Cena fan. More details HERE

Yes. J.R and Jerry Lawler were entertaining together especially during the Attitude Era. But there was a time when Lawler quit WWE following his wife, The Kat’s, exit. That paved the way for Paul Heyman’s debut as a WWE color commentator. This combination turned out to be entertaining as well. In this video, Vince McMahon fires Paul Heyman and that eventually leads to Heyman getting a handful, rather, fistful from J.R.

The Heel and The Face

In continuation with the last moment, it’s essential to point out the obvious. Paul Heyman was a heel. Has he ever been a face? Well, yes, in ECW. And J.R is the face and he’s always been one. This dichotomy is so entertaining in this video and shows how different and mellowed down today’s commentary is. This seems so heartfelt and passionate. Go J.R! Go Heyman!

Once a Paul Heyman Guy, NOT always a Paul Heyman Guy.

This is the time when Brock Lesnar turned face and he’s playing to the crowd’s whims and fancies and Undertaker’s too. Seems like Paul Heyman has no permanent friends. Poor Heyman! All alone. Well as they say, it’s lonely at the top. And with respect to Paul Heyman, nobody compares to his dramatic bouts of madness.

Here, at 0.26 is where the hilarity lies. Wait for it.

Woooooo!

Ric Flair returned during the Slammy Awards and awarded John Cena with the Superstar of the Year Slammy, which Cena politely gave to Flair himself. Punk made his way and rightfully stated that Cena has had a terrible year, unlike the longest reigning WWE champion of the modern era. Flair challenged Punk to a brawl, which eventually led to Heyman getting a Figure 4 leg lock executed on him.

He tapped. I laughed.

You’re going to see a walrus run

This compilation ends on the very note it started with- Paul Heyman running. It is good times for Punk and Heyman and their friendship. Undertaker shows up to get Paul Bearer’s urn back. Punk throws it over to the outside of the ring and Heyman runs like he’s been passed on the baton.
