Pete Dunne took on Damian Priest and Killian Dain in a #1 contender's triple threat match for the NXT Championship on Saturday's NXT TakeOver: WarGames. The former NXT UK Champion won the match and will now face NXT Champion Adam Cole in a championship match on Sunday's Survivor Series.
After the match, he gave a backstage interview regarding his upcoming match with Cole at Survivor Series.

Pete Dunne is ready for the title match at Survivor Series
The interviewer congratulated Dunne for his victory over Priest and Dain and asked how would he prepare himself for his match against the leader of The Undisputed Era at WWE's Fall Classic on such short notice. The Bruiserweight replied that he is proud of the legacy that he and Tyler Bate has created for themselves at NXT UK and added that the interviewer should rather question Adam Cole's ability to regroup after walking out of his WarGames match.
This is the exact place that me and Tyler Bate put ourselves and NXT UK on the map and tonight I continue that legacy and I took out Damian Priest and Killian Dain. So, you ask how prepared am I? I think the real question is, is Adam Cole gonna be prepared after walking out of WarGames?
Interestingly enough Adam Cole and the Undisputed Era lost their WarGames match against Tommaso Ciampa's team and it remains to be seen if The Panama City Playboy can rally back tomorrow night at Survivor Series in his championship defense against Dunne.
