It was announced on last week’s RAW that John Cena would be making his return to WWE TV on the upcoming episode of RAW.
The Cenation leader, though, made his untelevised return to in-ring action at last night’s live event at the Madison Square Garden in New York City and faced off against United States Champion Alberto Del Rio with the title being on the line.
Cena’s first match since Hell in a Cell ended with WWE’s Franchise Player earning the victory via disqualification. This led to Del Rio retaining his title – but that can all change on Monday Night RAW when he faces Cena again in a U.S. title match.
