There has been an arrest warrant issued in the name of WWE superstar Heath Slater as per reports from FOX-5 television in Atlanta.
Slater, whose real name is Heath Miller, was allegedly involved in a post Wrestlemania 27 party incident in 2011, where he physically attacked a female security personal after the party. Corrine Oliver, the victim, has accused Slater of putting her in a chokehold and attempting to get her into an elevator with the intent of dragging her back to his room at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.
Oliver claims the alleged attack caused damage to five vertebrae in her back. This story was reported back shortly after it first happened, but that was the last we heard about it.
Oliver also said that she had notified her supervisor about the incident on the next morning itself but lodged a police complaint after a delay of three months, explaining that she waited her supervisors in Allied Barton Securities to file the report but they never actually did it.
Oliver also said that other WWE Superstars saw what Slater was doing and didn’t help her. Jerry McDevitt, an attorney for WWE, noted Oliver filed the charges against Slater personally, and not against WWE.
