During the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, the landscape of the storyline took new twists and turns as we are heading towards Royal Rumble 2024. The ending of the show saw Randy Orton, LA Knight, and AJ Styles on the same page to destroy The Bloodline members.

However, besides the heated conclusion, the company also seemingly confirmed the end of The Brawling Brutes as a faction.

For those unaware, The Brawling Brutes comprised Sheamus along with Butch and Ridge Holland. However, when the Celtic Warrior went on hiatus due to injury, conflicts started arising between the two members. This led to a separation of both stars, which eventually resulted in Tyler Bate making his appearance on SmackDown last week to join hands with his former partner. Additionally, Ridge moved to NXT and is currently involved with Ilja Dragunov.

In the latest edition of the blue brand, the company aired a segment featuring both Tyler and Butch. In the segment, the former NXT UK Champion confirmed that the Brawling Brutes was his past and seemingly teased another singles run in the company. This generated a lot of excitement among fans, especially those who eyed the singles run of Butch during his time in the NXT UK.

It will be interesting to witness how things unfold as we get closer to the next Premium live event, Royal Rumble 2024.

WWE made major changes to another big faction of SmackDown

Besides The Brawling Brutes, WWE also made a major change to the group of Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits. According to the recent reports, now the faction is marked under the banner of babyface stars in the internal list.

This is also evident from their booking on the latest edition of SmackDown, where the All Mighty, along with Profits, called out Author of Pains and Karrion Kross for their assault on him last week.

This is also seemingly a confirmation of the upcoming feud between these two groups on SmackDown ahead of Royal Rumble 2024. Further, the former WWE Champion teased a clash against Roman Reigns in the near future.

This scenario unfolded when Paul Heyman approached Lashley backstage to join the Samoan faction just for the main event's six-man tag team action.

However, Bobby declined by stating that he would be involved with the Bloodline next time only when if he clashes with the Tribal Chief.

It will be interesting to see how WWE will book the All Mighty and Profits as babyface stars on the road to WrestleMania 40.
