CM Punk has not appeared on WWE television since the October 7 edition of RAW. The Second City Saint was selling his injuries from his victory over Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell Match at WWE Bad Blood.
Punk noted that he did not know how long he would be gone during his promo before having a brief confrontation with Seth Rollins. The 46-year-old could potentially return ahead of Survivor Series or perhaps at the premium live event itself on November 30.
Listed below are four things CM Punk can do at WWE Survivor Series 2024.
#4. CM Punk could confront World Heavyweight Champion Gunther at WWE Survivor Series
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
Gunther captured the World Heavyweight Championship from Damian Priest at SummerSlam after The Judgment Day's Finn Balor betrayed his former stablemate. The Ring General is scheduled to defend the title against Damian Priest at WWE Survivor Series at the end of the month.
If Gunther can retain the title at Survivor Series, Punk may show up after the match to confront the World Heavyweight Champion. This would lead to a dream match between the two stars at a future premium live event.
#3. CM Punk could attack Seth Rollins at Survivor Series
Seth Rollins and CM Punk were rumored to be heading toward a clash at WrestleMania XL earlier this year, but the match never came to fruition. Punk suffered a torn triceps during the Men's Royal Rumble Match in January and was unable to compete at The Show of Shows.
Punk may return during Survivor Series and target The Visionary. Rollins has made it known that he despises Punk and has even referred to the veteran as a "cancer" in the past. Rollins and Punk could brawl at Survivor Series, leading to a rivalry between the two stars that WWE fans have been waiting for.
#2. Punk could return with AJ Lee at Survivor Series
AJ Lee has not competed in a match in WWE since 2015, but fans are still clamoring for the former Divas Champion to return to the ring. Lee is in a relationship with Punk in real life, and the two stars got married in 2014.
Lee could return alongside Punk at Survivor Series and announce that she is ready to return to the ring. She may also decide to call out NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez, who recently claimed that she would not retire from in-ring competition until she had a match against AJ Lee.
#1. CM Punk could help the OG Bloodline at Survivor Series
Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Sami Zayn are set to compete against The Bloodline in a WarGames match at Survivor Series 2024. Sami Zayn attempted to recruit Seth Rollins to their team for the WarGames match this past Monday night on RAW, but the former World Heavyweight Champion declined the offer.
Paul Heyman used to serve as the manager for CM Punk back in the day. The Wiseman could be planning on returning at Survivor Series as well and may reach out to the former AEW World Champion ahead of the premium live event. CM Punk could agree to be the final member of Roman Reigns' team at Survivor Series after being asked to do so by Heyman.
