Former WWE Superstar and current AEW TNT Champion Miro defeated Darby Allin to become the new titleholder two weeks ago. He defended his title for the first time on last week's episode of AEW Dynamite, where he faced Dante Martin.

Martin worked his way up the roster, getting several wins before earning a chance at the TNT title. But when he faced Miro, it was clear he had bitten off more than he could chew. Martin still managed to put on a convincing performance, battling back against the former WWE Superstar as he looked to get in a few shots.

Unfortunately for him, it was not enough, as Miro lined him up for a deadlift brainbuster from the apron to inside the ring. He followed with a Machka Kick before locking in the Accolade to make Martin tap out. The performance was dominant, and the only reason Miro is not further up the list is because he was unable to fend off the assault of Lance Archer after the match.

He had to retreat but will look to make up for it when he faces Archer tonight at AEW Double or Nothing.
