The Pinnacle interrupted WWE legend and current AEW star Chris Jericho and the rest of The Inner Circle's segment on the show. As Jericho and his faction members were celebrating the greatest moments of The Inner Circle in AEW, they were interrupted by MJF via the video screen.
The leader of The Pinnacle, MJF, revealed former WWE veteran Dean Malenko was incapacitated. Jericho, along with the others, rushed to the stadium to save Malenko, but on the way, they were ambushed by members of The Pinnacle.

MJF and his friends had the upper hand and used the element of surprise to absolutely decimate their opponents ahead of their match on Sunday. During Sunday's match, The Pinnacle will face The Inner Circle in what could be the last-ever match for Jericho's team. If they lose, they will have to disband.
The beating they took at the hands of The Pinnacle will not help their cause. Santana and Ortiz were hit with twin piledrivers through tables, leaving them possibly hurt, just two days before their Stadium Stampede match at AEW Double or Nothing.
