Since becoming the WWE NXT Champion, Karrion Kross has been on a roll, destroying anyone who has dared to come face-to-face with him. The champion faced the former NXT Champion, Finn Balor, during this week's episode of WWE NXT.

The match was the main event of the night and rightfully so. Balor came to fight and looked to do so, trying to use his speed and technical ability to overcome the sheer power that Kross brought to the ring. Kross looked like a beast in the ring as he threw Balor around.

Balor tried to focus on Kross's mid-section and kept battering him. At one point, he even tried to wear out the WWE NXT Champion by choking him out and came very close to doing so.

However, Kross was not having it. He fought back and managed to get out of everything that Balor tried on him. He battered the former champion as if he was nothing, and then put on the Sleeper Hold, choking Balor out in the middle of the ring.

By the time Kross was done, Balor was limp, and Kross had won the match, retaining his NXT title.
