#1 Kofi Kingston defeats Randy Orton and Bobby Lashley on RAW
Former rivals Randy Orton and Kofi Kingston battled each other on RAW. Riddle's attempts to get Orton to make friends with The New Day failed badly. Instead, Kingston challenged Orton to a match that The Viper accepted.
Kingston and Orton picked up on their past rivalry. Both superstars showed impeccable knowledge of the other's moveset. Orton focused on grounding Kingston and stopping him from getting his high-flying offense going.

Kingston focused on Orton's arm, looking to hurt the shoulder that has suffered so many injuries in the past. The match saw Kingston get a few near-falls, but Orton gained the advantage later on in the match.
Just as he was looking better, he was distracted from the outside by Xavier Woods playing the trombone. Orton immediately paid attention to Woods, which allowed Kingston to roll him up and get the win.
Orton and Riddle didn't appreciate the move, with Riddle pushing Woods down before following Orton out. It was a big moment for Kingston as he was able to get a big win over his old rival on RAW.
Kingston's night was not over as he attempted to challenge Lashley for the title in the main event of RAW. However, MVP announced that the championship would not be on the line. The match was brutal as Lashley looked to establish his dominance by assaulting Kingston, but the New Day member displayed tremendous fortitude by withstanding the assault. In the end, interference from Drew McIntyre saw Kofi take advantage and roll up Lashley for the win.
As a result, Kingston has now defeated Randy Orton and Bobby Lashley on the same night.
