#3 Rhea Ripley became the new RAW Women's Champion at WrestleMania
Rhea Ripley did not have the best year heading into this year’s WrestleMania. Last year, Charlotte Flair won the WWE Women’s Royal Rumble and decided to challenge her for the NXT Women’s Championship. Unfortunately for Ripley, she lost the title to Charlotte at WrestleMania. She would not get the title back for the rest of her run in NXT.
Io Shirai was the one to defeat Charlotte. Rhea somehow got pushed down the card and had several other feuds where she was not always portrayed as the strong, indomitable force that she was.

However, since her appearance at this year’s Royal Rumble and WWE RAW, she seemed more powerful than before. It was time for her to make her way up to the main roster where she could a larger impact, and that exactly what she did.
Rhea appeared and challenged Asuka for the RAW Women’s Championship. She even dominated heading into the WrestleMania event, while Asuka ended up not looking too good.
Thus, when Rhea won the title at WrestleMania, it was not the biggest surprise. She dominated most of the match, but Asuka appeared to get the better of her towards the end. Ripley switched things up, reversing Asuka to hit the Riptide. That allowed her to win the match and become the new RAW Women’s Champion.
