Drew McIntyre is a future WWE Universal Champion. Ever since he has returned to the WWE, he has carried himself like a superstar. After a truncated tenure in NXT, McIntyre made his presence on the main roster felt by accompanying Dolph Ziggler to Raw. It was initially an odd pairing, but it has paid off for Ziggler, as he is now the Intercontinental Champion.

McIntyre is just too good to be paired alongside Ziggler and it will only be a matter of time before he turns on his partner and what better way to do it than win the Intercontinental Championship? It would be poetic for McIntyre to win the Intercontinental Championship, as he first won it as a young, inexperienced wrestler pegged for big things in the company back in 2009. McIntyre deserves to carry gold in the WWE and he might just do exactly that coming out of Summerslam.
