For some WWE Superstars, 2025 started holding the same championship they had held in the past year. However, some other golds in this list started the new year with a new champion.
As of this writing, there are 11 championships in WWE's main roster and three of them changed hands recently. 2024 was a big year that saw many title changes, and with this in mind, there's a possibility that more new champions will emerge this year.
For this list, we will be predicting the next champions for every current WWE title in the main roster.

#11. #10. and #9. Men's and Women's Tag Team Championships
As of this writing, the women's division only has one Tag Team Championship across RAW, SmackDown, and NXT. Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill currently hold it, though the latter has been subbed in by Naomi after Jade was attacked on the Friday show in November. Still, this temporary arrangement might become permanent sooner or later as many believe one of them, possibly even both, is behind the attack.
On the other hand, RAW and SmackDown have different men's Tag Team Champions. The current World Tag Team Champions are The War Raiders, while the Tag Team Champions are DIY.
The Monday night show could see the Creed Brothers defeat Erik and Ivar due to the leadership and pressuring tactics Chad Gable has bestowed on them recently. Meanwhile, the Street Profits could finally get a chance to become champions on the SmackDown side.
#8. and #7. WWE Men's and Women's Intercontinental Championships
No one has yet been crowned the Women's Intercontinental Champion as Lyra Valkyria and Dakota Kai will battle it out next week after a grueling tournament. The heavy favorite heading into the exchange is the Damage CTRL star.
The current men's Intercontinental Champion is Bron Breakker, who has done a great job in the past year in continuing the dominant legacy of the title. However, Sheamus might just be able to overcome the RAW star.
#6. and #5. WWE Men's and Women's United States Championships
Chelsea Green is the current and inaugural Women's United States Champion after defeating Michin in the final on Saturday Night's Main Event last month. SmackDown has several talented women on their roster, and Michin is not showing any signs that she will give up her chase of the title any time soon.
In the men's division, Shinsuke Nakamura recently won the title at Survivor Series by defeating LA Knight. Although The Megastar continues to look to regain the gold, WWE might want to capitalize on Carmelo Hayes' popularity in the brand.
#4. and #3. WWE Women's and Women's World Championships
Interestingly, both titles recently changed hands. The women's title on SmackDown is now held by Tiffany Stratton after she cashed in on Nia Jax, while Rhea Ripley defeated Liv Morgan for the Women's World gold on RAW's Netflix debut.
It's hard to imagine the titles changing hands anytime soon, but there's still a possibility. With reports emerging that Charlotte Flair is making her return, she might challenge for the Friday night's show's women's title immediately especially after many have noted that Flair vs. Stratton is one of the dream matches many fans have.
For The Eradicator's title, many are clamoring to see Ripley vs. IYO SKY at WrestleMania 41, with some reports even emerging that this was the current plan for The Grandest Stage of Them All.
#2. and #1. WWE World Heavyweight and Undisputed Heavyweight Championships
The World Heavyweight and Undisputed Championships currently have some of the most dominant and popular titleholders in recent history. Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns at 'Mania to end the latter's historic 1316-day reign as champion, while Gunther defeated Damian Priest at SummerSlam.
It's hard to imagine another star of Cody's caliber at the moment aside from Roman. Although only a few people think Rhodes will drop the title soon, the only person who can match his success is The Tribal Chief.
For Gunther, two names who could defeat him are currently making the rounds. The first is CM Punk, who expressed his desire to fight for the championship before 2024 ended. There's also John Cena, who fans want to see become a 17-time World Champion. The Cenation leader, who kicked off his Retirement Tour on RAW's Netflix debut, winning is more likely.
