Johnny Gargano has been in the middle of a two-match losing streak. He was defeated by Tommaso Ciampa at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn 4 and by The Velveteen Dream on an episode of NXT. Gargano has promised that for the first time in a while, he is back.

He claims that Johnny Wrestling is back and he will probably show that tonight. Johnny Gargano will defeat Tony Nese before presumably challenging Tommaso Ciampa for the NXT Title at NXT Takeover War Games 2.
