WrestleMania is WWE's biggest, oldest, and most prestigious annual premium live event. It is the stage where the Stamford-based promotion's biggest stories of the year usually culminate, playing host to many unforgettable moments. The 41st edition of The Showcase of the Immortals, which will be held in Las Vegas, is just under six months away, and potential matchups have begun taking shape.

With every passing PLE, the WWE Universe will get a clearer picture of what The Show of Shows will look like. With every passing show, stars will be elevated, titles changed, stories furthered, and anticipation ramped up for the two-night event in Allegiant Stadium on April 19th and 20th, 2025. Of course, no match on a PLE holds as much consequence as the main event.

With that in mind, let's predict every main roster PLE main event from Crown Jewel to WrestleMania 41.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

#6. WWE Crown Jewel 2024: Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther

The sixth edition of WWE Crown Jewel would be a historic one in the PLE's young lifetime. For the first time, the men's and women's world champions on RAW will battle their SmackDown counterparts to become the first-ever Crown Jewel champions of their respective divisions. Bronson Reed will also face Seth Rollins for the first time, with one or two more matches yet to be added.

While other matches on the card may be more meaningful for ongoing storyline progression, establishing the prestige of the new titles may take higher precedence. The powers that will most likely want the closing shot of the Saudi show to be one of the new Crown Jewel Champions holding up the new title against a backdrop of a massive fireworks display.

If one were to predict which title match would headline, they would most probably go with Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther.

#5. WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 would be headlined by the Bloodline vs. Bloodline War Games match

As it stands, all signs point to Bloodline vs. Bloodline factional warfare at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024. Roman Reigns has been at odds with Solo Sikoa and Co. since returning at Summerslam and was recently joined by Jimmy Uso at Bad Blood. Jey Uso has also been roped into the saga and is expected to seek retribution for The Bloodline's role in his losing the Intercontinental Title.

The final piece of the puzzle for Reigns' team should be Sami Zayn, who could rejoin his old comrades at the behest of 'Main Event' Jey. This Bloodline War has arguably been the most anticipated match in the company since Sikoa ejected the elder Uso and Paul Heyman from the group several months ago. It's hard to imagine any other bout headlining the Vancouver PLE.

#4. WWE Royal Rumble 2025: The Rock vs. Cody Rhodes

The night after WrestleMania XL, The Rock surprised Cody Rhodes by interrupting the latter's Undisputed WWE Title celebration. The Great One congratulated The American Nightmare upon finishing his story but promised that their story was just beginning. He then returned at Bad Blood, delivering another cryptic message to Rhodes and Roman Reigns before announcing on X (fka Twitter) that he would return in 2025.

The Brahma Bull's exact return date has not yet been confirmed, but RAW's Netflix debut looks most likely. Should this come to pass, The Brahma Bull could build towards a Royal Rumble 2025 match against Rhodes. At the Indianapolis event, it's hard to picture any clash other than Rock vs. Cody going on last, especially if the latter remains the Undisputed WWE champion.

#3. Elimination Chamber 2025: The Men's Elimination Chamber match

WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 could be one of the most epic editions in the premium live event's history, for one reason: John Cena. Should The Cenation Leader fail to win a third Royal Rumble in Indianapolis, the men's Elimination Chamber match could be his last chance to earn a world title match at WrestleMania.

If the 16-time world champion entered the iconic match, he would be a huge fan favorite to claim victory and go on to challenge for world title gold in Las Vegas. If he does compete, it would be easy to see him winning the match and punching his ticket to The Show of Shows. It's also hard to see any other moment carrying more weight on the night, suggesting that the Men's Elimination Chamber Match would be the headliner.

#2. WrestleMania 41 Night 1: Gunther vs. John Cena for the World Heavyweight Championship

One of the biggest things fans all over the world would like to see on John Cena's 2025 WWE retirement tour is The Champ competing for his 17th world title. A large number of fans would like to see him do that at his final WrestleMania, having won the Royal Rumble or Elimination Chamber. A good number of people would actually like to see him win his 17th, eclipsing Ric Flair.

The Champ has compelling reasons to go after both Gunther and Cody Rhodes if they both remain champions by WrestleMania 41. However, The Ring General may be a better foil for Cena, given that he is a heel and the Hollywood megastar is a beloved babyface. Gunther vs. Cena for the World Heavyweight Championship would be a technical and emotional rollercoaster for the ages.

It would also be a match worthy of main eventing Night 1 of WrestleMania 41, which would be The Chain Gang Soldier's final Showcase of the Immortals.

#1. WWE WrestleMania 41 Night 2: Roman Reigns vs. The Rock

Roman Reigns vs. The Rock is arguably the biggest 'box office' dream match in WWE and the entire industry today. After a decade of speculation, the mega bout almost happened at WrestleMania XL, but the #WeWantCody movement put it on pause. The two Samoan powerhouses instead teamed up in Philadelphia, ending up with mixed results.

As the path to WrestleMania 41 begins to take shape, they are at odds once more, with the Bloodline civil war raging. The OTC and Final Boss seem destined to clash on The Grandest Stage of Them All, finally giving fans the passing-of-the-torch moment they have waited many years for.

Given the names involved and the legendary Bloodline story driving their rivalry, this is almost certainly going to be the main event of Night 2.
