Putting aside all of the legal troubles, Alberto El Patron was a fairly big name for Impact to get and given how they’ve been marketing him, you can tell that they want to portray the former WWE champion as the face of the company.

Unfortunately, those plans have probably hit something of a stumbling block, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been receiving some serious wonga.

We'd probably put the 40-year-old’s salary closer towards the seven figures than most, which seems ridiculous on the face of it following some of Impact's financial issues. Still, idiotic decisions aren’t exactly taboo in the wrestling world, and maybe the gamble on El Patron will end up paying off.

Then again, it probably won’t.
