The Elimination Chamber is the next stop for the Raw brand after the Royal Rumble. Here we predict the 6 men that could be stepping into pods and competing in what is many peoples favourite match type!
#6 Elias
Elias really has had a great first year on the main roster.
Despite being an afterthought in NXT it is clear there was always a bigger plan for 'The Drifter' and at the moment he has all the making of a future World Champion.
In a company crying out for real heels that can draw heat, Elias is a shining light and one of the top competitors on the Raw brand.
Expect his hard work to be rewarded with a spot in the main event at Elimination Chamber and although he won't win, I do expect him to have a great showing.
#5 The Miz
'The Rolling Stone Wrestler of the year' The Miz has been a very reliable hand in the WWE for years.
Although at first, it seemed his move from Smackdown to RAW would be ill-advised, his run on the Raw roster has been just as good. He has proved as well that even when surrounded by the best of the best he still shines through.
Also, the WWE has a tendency to include a mid-card Champion in matches like this and I expect The Miz to once again hold the IC title by the time Elimination Chamber comes around.
#4 Finn Balor
With The Club by his side, Finn Balor is currently in the midst of a career resurgence.
The Chamber match would be a great chance for him to showcase his moveset against some of the best Raw has to offer.
I also expect him to challenge The Miz at Mania this year so perhaps the seeds for that feud can be planted here. Maybe The Miz will be Eliminated by Balor and attack him as he leaves screwing up his chance to win the match?
#3 John Cena
This one really does not need much explaining.
The franchise player John Cena will be involved in any multi-man main event provided he is available and he has been advertised for Elimination Chamber in press releases.
Perhaps, the light will go out and 'The Undertaker' will appear to cost Cena the match setting up a match between the two at Wrestlemania that fans have been dying to see.
#2 Kurt Angle
I only think that Angle will be in a match like this if Samoa Joe is still injured, if not I think Joe would probably get the nod ahead of the 'Olympic Hero'
At TLC when Reigns was injured Angle stepped in with great success so he could easily do this again in place of Joe.
Also, it is widely rumoured Angle will be competing with Triple H at Wrestlemania and a match like this could be a great way to shake the ring rust. Once again as well, Creative will have the option of Triple H costing Angle to intensify their feud.
#1 Roman Reigns
The Roman Reigns mega push that has dominated the last 4 years of WWE Television shows no signs of slowdown heading into Wrestlemania season.
If this match is a Number One Contender's match for the Universal Title at Mania then Reigns has to be considered the overwhelming favourite to go on and face Lesnar. It seems like that main event has been the endgame all year and I doubt they will change plans now.
The WWE universe will once again turn on Reigns if he wins the Rumble. A win at the chamber after a hard-fought contest would be a much better received by the fans and be a great way to set up the rematch between Reigns and Lesnar.
