Shazza McKenzie was requested so fervently for last year's Mae Young Classic that there were online petitions over the matter. McKenzie has had numerous years under her belt at Shimmer and a couple of NXT appearances to boot, including one this very month in a losing effort against last year's winner, Kairi Sane. Her earlier appearance saw her in a match against Emma.

With 10 years of experience under her belt, McKenzie would be another veteran for newer talent to work with in the tournament.
