#9 Marina Shafir
The announcement a little while ago that Marina Shafir, one of the "MMA four horsewomen," signed with WWE didn't come as a surprise. Given her friendship with Ronda Rousey and current NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler, her marriage to Roderick Strong, and the long-rumored "horsewomen vs. horsewomen" match, it was easy to see coming.
As such, Marina Shafir is guaranteed to get a push in the tournament. Unlike Shayna Baszler, however, she's a complete newbie to the world of professional wrestling, so don't expect the same push Shayna got last year.
