NXT TakeOver: War Games III will take place on Saturday, November 23rd, 2019. There are only two matches that are confirmed with all details of the match fully revealed. One of those matches is a singles bout between Matt Riddle and Finn Balor. Riddle was originally scheduled to be part of the War Games match involving Team Tommaso Ciampa and Undisputed Era, but was taken out of that match due to a neck injury that Johnny Gargano suffered, which ruled him out of Survivor Series weekend. Because Johnny Gargano cannot wrestle Finn Balor at NXT TakeOver: War Games III, Matt Riddle will be taking his spot.
All of the women in the War Games match have already been confirmed. Rhea Ripley's team will include Tegan Nox (who was confronted by Shayna Baszler after she made her return), Candice LeRae (who unsuccessfully challenged Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women's Championship), and Mia Yim (who has also had issues with Shayna Baszler). Shayna Baszler's team includes NXT UK Women's Champion Kay Lee Ray (who interfered in the ladder match between Mia Yim and Io Shirai), Io Shirai (who has had issues with Candice LeRae), and Bianca Belair (who has had problems with Rhea Ripley).
In this article, we take a look at what might be added to the upcoming NXT TakeOver: War Games III pay-per-view.

#3: Cruiserweight Championship: Lio Rush (c.) vs. Angel Garza
Angel Garza has been a thorn in Lio Rush's side ever since he became Cruiserweight Champion. While Angel Garza had a few appearances on 205 Live against his cousin Humberto Carrillo, he mainly appeared in NXT against Superstars that were not a part of 205 Live like Tommaso Ciampa and Pete Dunne. However, Garza scored a victory over 'Gentleman' Jack Gallagher a few weeks ago. He antagonized Lio Rush a few times on Instagram before he faced off with Tony Nese to determine the number one contender for the Cruiserweight Championship.
After Angel Garza defeated Tony Nese in an excellent match, he moved on to Lio Rush quickly by slapping him in the face. The two Superstars had a great match the following week on NXT that ended with Lio Rush getting the pinfall victory. However, Angel Garza's foot was on the rope, so there will be a rematch between the two at some point and there may be no better time than at NXT TakeOver: War Games III.
#2: Damian Priest vs. Killian Dain vs. Pete Dunne
On one of the first USA Network episodes of NXT, Pete Dunne defeated Danny Burch. After that match, Damian Priest attacked Pete Dunne. Damian Priest and Pete Dunne would trade victories with one another after that. Before the first match between Pete Dunne and Damian Priest, Dune and Killian Dain had an altercation that ended with 'The Bruiserweight' snapping 'The Beast of Belfast's' finger. Damian Priest would then defeat Pete Dunne after hitting a low blow.
Pete Dunne and Damian Priest would go on to have a rematch a few weeks later that ended with Pete Dunne scoring the victory. Pete Dunne would not be able to celebrate for long as Killian Dain attacked both he and Damian Priest after the match. Damian Priest would then attack Killian Dain before he could start his match with Pete Dunne. The three Superstars engaged in a massive brawl that ended with Damian Priest taking out both men with a dive to the outside.
Since these three have proven to be inseparable leading up to NXT: War Games III, look for this massive Triple Threat bout to be added to the card.
#1: War Games: The Undisputed Era vs. Dominik Dijakovic, Isaiah 'Swerve' Scott, Keith Lee, and Tommaso Ciampa
Ever since Tommaso Ciampa returned from injury, he has been determined to win back the championship that he never actually lost and has shown no fear of the Undisputed Era's numbers advantage. He had initially enlisted Keith Lee and Matt Riddle to aid him, as they also had a reason to want to fight against Undisputed Era due to the numbers game costing them multiple championship matches. When Matt Riddle stepped out to face Finn Balor, he was replaced by Dominik Dijakovic.
With Matt Riddle officially out of the equation, Tommaso Ciampa will still need one more Superstar to be on his team to compete against Undisputed Era. That Superstar will likely be Isaiah 'Swerve' Scott. He has been shown as a rising Superstar, as he recently scored an impressive victory over Bronson Reed. Scott also has reason to want to fight against Undisputed Era, as the other members of the faction cost him a victory over NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong in non-title action.
