Next NXT Women's Champion: Io Shirai

Kairi Sane won the NXT Women's Championship at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn 4. She will probably successfully defend her title against the likes of Shayna Baszler, Bianca Belair and Lacey Evans. Kairi Sane will then be challenged by Io Shirai (who won the 2nd Mae Young Classic).

This will be a friendly rivalry at first but Io Shirai will soon turn heel. Io Shirai will face Kairi Sane at the NXT Takeover before WrestleMania 35. Io Shirai will defeat Kairi Sane and become NXT Women's Champion. Kairi Sane will then join the main roster. Io Shirai can then have matches with the likes of Dakota Kai, Candice LeRae and Deonna Purrazzo in the future.
