Next Raw Tag Team Champions: The Shield

Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose are already former WWE Raw Tag Team Champions.

Given the way that Raw's Tag Team division has been terribly booked, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose are the only credible challengers as The Revival and The Authors of Pain both suffer from 50/50 booking, Bobby Roode & Chad Gable are a temporary tag team that will end with a Bobby Roode heel turn, and The Ascension, Titus Worldwide, and Heath Slater & Rhyno are jobbers. However, Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose are both former world champions that have been involved in a rivalry with Drew McIntyre & Dolph Ziggler all summer.

It is easy to see Seth Rollins pulling double duty at Hell in a Cell, successfully defending his IC title and challenging Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre for the Raw Tag Team Titles. Seth Rollins can fight twice a night for a little bit. This will also be a great way to get the IC Title off of Seth Rollins, especially if an angry Baron Corbin schedules a tag team title match first and then an IC Title match right after it. This way, Dean Ambrose will also no longer be the odd one out and each member of the Shield will hold a title. Rollins & Ambrose can then defend their titles against the likes of the Authors of Pain & the Revival.
