WWE's next premium live event is just two days away. The global juggernaut will be hosting yet another international event, this time in Glasgow, Scotland.
This is the second-ever Clash at the Castle event and the first to take place in Scotland, as the first edition emanated from Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. It was a great show and this year's spectacle is expected to be no different.
As of now, five matches have been confirmed for Clash at the Castle. In this article, we will predict the winners of all the bouts announced for WWE Clash at the Castle.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
#5 Cody Rhodes will retain his title against AJ Styles
Cody Rhodes vs. AJ Styles is arguably the biggest match WWE will offer at Clash at the Castle. The Undisputed WWE Title will be on the line when two of the best in-ring performers in the world lock horns in Glasgow. They will compete in a physical gimmick match, thanks to how personal their rivalry has become.
The feud became particularly memorable and personal just a few weeks ago when AJ Styles faked his in-ring retirement only to brutally attack The American Nightmare. Hence, they will compete in an "I Quit" Match on June 15.
It is highly unlikely for WWE to book its top babyface to quit. There is an exception, however. Mama Rhodes looks to be going to Scotland too, as seen in a social media post. There is a chance that AJ Styles and The O.C. will threaten Cody's mother to force him to give up, giving Styles his first world title victory in years.
#4 Bayley will remain the WWE Women's Champion
Bayley is the WWE Women's Champion, having won the title from IYO SKY at WrestleMania. She has already successfully defended her gold against prominent names like Tiffany Stratton and Naomi. The Role Model will now be putting her belt on the line against Piper Niven at Clash at the Castle Scotland.
While Piper Niven will likely look like a dominant star and a serious threat, there is very little chance that she will win, despite competing on her home turf. Instead, The Role Model will hit her Rose Plant DDT and stand tall. The only question is whether the Scottish crowd will still support Bayley.
#3 Chad Gable will win gold
Sami Zayn is another superstar who won big at WrestleMania. The WWE Intercontinental Champion captured the belt by dethroning Gunther. At Clash at the Castle, he will defend his prize against former Olympian Chad Gable.
This story has been fascinating, as Chad Gable has gone from being a loveable underdog to a despised villain. He turned heel on Zayn soon after The Show of Shows. Gable is also regularly bullying his Alpha Academy stablemates, talking down to them, and even slapping Otis.
While many think Otis will finally shut Gable up at Clash at the Castle and help Zayn win, this might not happen. Instead, The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile will turn heel by showing up and helping Master Gable win the coveted Intercontinental Championship, shocking the world in the process.
#2 The Unholy Union will win big
A major WWE Women's Tag Team Championship match is scheduled for Clash at the Castle Scotland. The reigning champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will put their title on the line in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match.
Their opponents are The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn) and Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark.
In what may be the surprise of the night, The Unholy Union could win this one. A Triple Threat Tag Team match means the champions don't have to get pinned. Dawn could get a pin on Stark, and the former NXT tandem could finally have their moment in the sun in front of their hometown crowd.
#1 Drew McIntyre will dethrone Damian Priest
The final bout announced for the show will see Drew McIntyre go one-on-one with the World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest. This match comes after Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on McIntyre at WrestleMania XL, ending the latter's latest WWE World Title reign in around five minutes.
This time, however, things will go differently. McIntyre will hit his Claymore Kick on the Judgment Day member and win clean. No CM Punk interference will get in the way, nor will the heel group's antics. The Scotsman will finally have his moment with a clean victory.
