Elimination Chamber 2018 will be the last WWE RAW pay-per-view before WrestleMania 34. The Men's Elimination Chamber match will be contested between seven Superstars with the winner earning a shot at Brock Lesnar's Universal Championship.
As far as the rumors are concerned, the match seems like a formality considering the main event has already been decided. Well, we still have the other six Superstars who would be booked in legitimate headlining worthy feuds at WrestleMania 34.
Here are the predictions of WrestleMania 34 feuds for every participant in the Elimination Chamber.
#7 Roman Reigns
Let's start this by addressing the obvious that Roman Reigns is scheduled to face 'the Beast Incarnate' at WrestleMania 34 for the Universal Championship. This reduces the possibility of any other Superstar walking out of T-Mobile Arena as the No. 1 contender. 'The Big Dog' is a great performer between the ropes but has failed to make a strong connection with the audience.
Vince McMahon idolizes him and thinks he is the future of this business and it is most certain that he will overcome all the other participants in the chamber match. The fans are definitely expecting an unpredictable outcome but it seems likely that the company won't change their mindset regarding the main event.
Whether you like it or not, 'The Big Dog' will be heading to New Orleans and headline another WrestleMania.
Prediction: Universal Championship match against Brock Lesnar
#6 Elias
If you follow Monday Night Raw on a weekly basis, then you would definitely appreciate the transition of Elias. 'The Drifter' has been a hilarious entertainer on the mic and definitely manages to hold the audience's attention whenever he arrives. WWE has portrayed him like a perfect heel magnet and it's safe to say that he has a great future ahead of him.
But despite the tremendous growth of Elias as a character, he stands no chance in the Elimination Chamber match. He would be entering last in the chamber but he would probably be eliminated early by either Roman Reigns or Braun Strowman.
All the main feuds on the roster have been booked and it seems unlikely to insert Elias into any feud despite the enormous talent he possesses. Expect him to be inserted into the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
Prediction: A strong contender in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
#5 The Miz
'The A-Lister' is one of the best heels dominating the wrestling business today, and while he does not stand a chance at winning the Elimination Chamber match, he will head to New Orleans either way. The Miz is the Intercontinental Champion and there's no way he will be dropping that belt before April 8th, 2018.
The Intercontinental Champion has been involved in some altercations on social media with the 'First-Ever Universal Champion', Finn Balor, which has resulted in rumours about a possible match between the two. The Miz eliminated Balor from the Gauntlet Match on Raw and it seems likely that WWE could be building towards a mid-card feud between the two for WrestleMania 34.
Expect Balor to seek redemption and eliminate the Intercontinental Champion from the Chamber.
Prediction: Intercontinental Championship match against Finn Balor
#4 Finn Balor
Judging by the social media interaction, it seems likely that Finn Balor will be challenging for the Intercontinental Championship at 'The Grandest Stage Of Them All'.
'The Demon' will head to the T-Mobile Arena to seek redemption and it is a definite possibility that he will eliminate the 'A-Lister' from the Elimination Chamber.
The WWE understands that the fans will be anticipating something unpredictable at the event, but if The Miz delivers a Skull Crushing Finale to Balor moments after his elimination, they could plant the seeds for a tremendous feud.
Predictions: Intercontinental Championship against the Miz
#3 Braun Strowman
'The Monster Among Men' is the hottest commodity on Monday Night Raw and has continuously produced some of the most entertaining moments in 2018. However, there's no confirmation regarding his role at WrestleMania 34 considering how big of a deal he could be.
There were initial speculations of a mainstream feud with Triple H but there doesn't seem any legitimate storyline to back this feud.
There's no denying that WWE will do everything in its power to make Strowman look like a dominant threat in the match but he will fall short to the Roman Empire courtesy of a vicious spear.
Braun Strowman's WrestleMania plans are still up in the air but considering how popular he has become, it wouldn't be surprising if he turns out to be Ronda Rousey's partner for the mixed tag team match against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
Predictions: Teaming with Ronda Rousey to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon
#2 Seth Rollins
The Gauntlet match on Monday Night Raw recently saw one of the greatest performances by any Superstar on the main roster. Seth Rollins delivered a masterpiece of fine athleticism which got the crowd invested in the match. Since Jason Jordan's injury, 'The Architect' has been shifted back to the main event picture where he truly belongs.
He will be heading into the T-Mobile Arena with a lot of momentum but he surely won't be winning the Elimination Chamber match. WWE will definitely book him in a strong position on the similar lines of the Gauntlet match with Rollins eventually, running out of steam. He could sell the injuries and fatigue from his tremendous performance this week and it would become an ideal excuse to make him look strong.
However, as far as his WrestleMania plans are concerned, WWE could possibly put him in a major spot against RAW GM, Kurt Angle.
Prediction: Singles Match with Kurt Angle
#1 John Cena
'The 16-time World Champion' is the most celebrated Superstar on the main roster and has constantly tried to push the boundaries to produce something incredible. There can be no WrestleMania without John Cena, and while he's been hinting that he might not have a road to WrestleMania, the rumours suggest that the WWE will book him in a major marquee match against The Undertaker at The Show of Shows.
This dream match is a match that the world wants to see, and since the company are high on Roman Reigns against Brock Lesnar, they'll definitely push the envelope for a John Cena-Undertaker match at WrestleMania. 'The Franchise' will deliver an outstanding performance in the Chamber but will still fall short in order to extract some emotional empathy.
This could be the biggest match in the history of this business and if you genuinely feel that Cena doesn't have a Road to WrestleMania this year, you're very, very wrong.
Prediction: A historic match with the Undertaker
