Predictions for WrestleMania 35 before Royal Rumble

Intercontinental Championship: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Elias vs. Braun Strowman vs. Dean Ambrose

Will WWE revisit the feud between Lashley and Elias for a WrestleMania program and maybe throw Strowman in to freshen it up?

Instead of relying on the same few men to carry the title (the Miz, Dolph Ziggler, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose), WWE needs to infuse some new blood into the Intercontinental Title picture.

Sure, Finn Balor was 'new blood' but the title needs to be around someone new who hasn't held the title before.

WWE seems to love Elias and his gimmick and now he's a hugely over as a face. Lashley and Elias have feuded twice already ever since The All Mighty rejoined the WWE last April.

Elias was more popular in each feud regardless of his heel/face alignment. If WWE wants to get the Drifter over even more (not that he needs it), an Intercontinental Championship win over Lashley at WrestleMania would be huge for him.

If WWE wants to finally capitalize on Elias' super-stardom, they need to start by putting the Intercontinental Championship around his waist at some point.

Adding Braun Strowman to the match might seem like a downgrade for him, but he hasn't won the big one yet.

Ambrose should be in a relatively big match in April as well, so this at least keeps him in a title picture since he's apparently done with Rollins.

Putting Strowman in another title match at WrestleMania, albeit for a mid-card title, still keeps him looking dangerous until they decide he is ready for a possible Universal Title run.
