Projecting the best matches for Brock Lesnar in the next 3 years

Daniel Bryan – SummerSlam 2016

Monster vs Underdog

This match probably will not happen, and even if it can, the chances are extrememly slim. For one, Daniel Bryan’s career may be tragically coming to an end, as he mentioned this week on Raw. If Daniel Bryan does come back, WWE would be very careful with him and not book him any matches where he could be in danger. Brock Lesnar uses mostly suplexes, and that would mean terrible consequeces for Bryan’s already fragile neck. However, in a scenario where this match were to happen, SummerSlam next year would be ideal, as Bryan would likely be back by then (if he comes back), and in respectable shape. It also wouldn’t be too late for it not to have a great impact. It would serve for an excellent underdog story, and could tell an emotional story in the ring.

Cesaro – Royal Rumble 2017

Superman vs Monster

Does one need to recite reasons for this match to happen? It’s a match made in heaven. One Paul Heyman Guy taking on a former Paul Heyman Failure. WWE won’t invest so much in this match to put it on a larger show, but it could still happen at a show like the Royal Rumble. It would tear the house down to say the least, and pound for pound Cesaro can stand up to Brock Lesnar. Brock could be used to effectively put over the Swiss Superman in this, or even win but make him look strong. Technically, Cesaro always amazes, and there’s no reason why he wouldn’t against Lesnar.

Randy Orton – WrestleMania 33

Beast vs Predator

Everybody wants to see this match. Many people wanted Orton to return at the Royal Rumble this year and win it to face Lesnar at this year’s WrestleMania, but that crown went to Roman Reigns. This match is almost certain to happen, as WWE do listen to their fans at times, and there’s no better stage than WrestleMania. Having it this late could also be a good thing as Orton could be kept relevant, and it would also not be likely to take the main event spot, as there would be a lot of young talent at the time, such as Tyler Breeze and Hideo Itami from NXT. Both men could be made to look strong in this match, because their styles could gel together and they’re both around the same size.
