Finn Balor – SummerSlam 2017
For Brock Lesnar’s last three matches, it would ideally be against men who are currently part of the NXT roster, starting with the fan favourite, future WWE Champion, Finn Balor. The Irishman would put on a performance similar to what Seth Rollins would, and the match would be similar too, which means it would be spectacular. Balor’s occasional creepy gimmick could also be used to try to taunt Lesnar, such as in the build up to his match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania last year. This match is a complete win-win situation, and it would be a huge draw as well, as Balor already has a great amount of popularity.
Baron Corbin – Royal Rumble 2018
Brock Lesnar’s second last match for the WWE should be against another dominant beast. Baron Corbin has been booked like a monster down in NXT, especially in his earlier days when he used to sail past opponents with ease. There is no denying that this would be a great, hard-hitting match. Although it might not be as big a draw as some of the other matches on this list, it would still likely be a success, and would be able to lead Lesnar into his final match well. Corbin could benefit greatly from a strong performance against the Beast, but not as much as the man who should be Lesnar’s final opponent.
Kevin Owens – WrestleMania 34
It’s in wrestling tradition that every wrestler loses his or her last match before retiring, mostly to help put the opponent over. Brock Lesnar must put someone over in his last match, and it must be Kevin Owens. The current NXT Champion is a mirror image of Lesnar, and this must be embraced. They have to collide and the future must win over the present, for the benefit of everyone. Lesnar can go out the proper way, and the future can be set in stone for a promising talent in Owens. It would be a brilliant match, especially since Owens is able to pull off many things a big man can’t. It would be the fitting end to the career of one of the greatest ever.
