After losing to him at Battleground, R-Truth will now face defending champ Curtis Axel this Friday night on SmackDown for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
The match at Battleground saw both wrestlers give it all they had, but Curtis Axel got the better of R-Truth by dropping him throat first across the top rope, then hits his finishing move to retain his title.
