Randy Orton is currently out with an injury again after a brutal attack from Kevin Owens. While many are saddened about his absence, this can also mean that a surprise return and feud is on the rise.

Randy Orton has been feuding with Kevin Owens since the latter attacked Cody Rhodes after Bad Blood. The former tag team partners came to blows on the November 8 episode of SmackDown, which saw The Prizefighter hit The Viper with a Piledriver, resulting in the latter sustaining an injury. While many fans are worried about his condition, this also means many are looking forward to his eventual WWE return.

For this list, we will look at four things Randy Orton can do once he returns to WWE:

#4. Randy Orton teams up with Drew McIntyre's cause against The OG Bloodline

Drew McIntyre returned a few weeks ago on WWE RAW with one goal in mind, eliminate the members of The OG Bloodline. On this week's Monday show, he tried to recruit Seth Rollins but failed, one star who can join him instead is Randy Orton.

Like McIntyre, Orton has some history with The OG Bloodline. Not only did they dethrone him and Matt Riddle of the RAW Tag Team Championship, but were also the reason why he was out for almost two years with an injury. He never truly had that singles match against Reigns when he returned, which can finally change on his second return. To ensure he won't be outnumbered, he can form an unlikely alliance with Drew McIntyre.

#3. Randy Orton to feud with John Cena for one last time

2025 is set to be the year John Cena will officially retire from in-ring action. Several names are pitched by fans for him to face in his retirement tour, and one name that keeps popping up is Randy's.

Cena and Orton may be great rivals on-screen, but they are also close friends behind the scenes. The Franchise Player kicking off his farewell tour against a close friend will surely be an emotional and nostalgic moment for the stars and fans.

#2. Randy Orton gets some much-deserved vengeance

As mentioned above, Orton's current absence is due to the actions of Kevin Owens. KO did the same to Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night's Main Event. With this in mind, it's hard to imagine that Orton will just forgive and forget about The Prizefighter.

The Legend Killer can return next year and ensure Owens' stay in the Stamford-based promotion will be a living nightmare. He can constantly attack him, cost him major matches, and ensure that his rival won't ever be champion while he is present.

#1. Cody Rhodes gains another target on his back

One feud many fans have been waiting for a while now is Orton vs Rhodes. Both men have a personal history and are known for having a good relationship behind the scenes as well. After Randy targets Kevin, he can move on to bigger matters at hand.

The Apex Predator has a few reasons for targeting The American Nightmare. The Undisputed WWE Championship, Cody's alignment with Roman despite what the latter did, and The Viper can even blame him for what KO did.
